Rectangular Hollow Sections

Rectangular Hollow Sections (RHS) are manufactured using state-of-the-art technology and formed from pickled or cold-rolled strips. Rectangular profiles have a wide range of application areas, including the construction industry, roof structures, furniture manufacturing, machinery and agricultural equipment, as well as the automotive sector, such as bus and truck bodies and frames. Rectangular profiles are produced in factories or workshops located in almost every province. Naturally, certain criteria exist during this production, which vary based on the dimensions and thicknesses of the profiles. Briefly mentioning the standards:

TS 6475 standards are followed in the production of thin-walled rectangular profiles.

TS 5317 standards are followed in the production of thick-walled rectangular profiles.

There are also international standards for profile production (DIN 2395, DIN 59411, ASTM A-500, BS 6363).

Certain standard ranges also exist for the outer surface and the amount of raw material used in rectangular profile production. Manufacturing in accordance with these ranges reflects the overall quality. The outer dimensions of the profiles should range between 10x10 mm and 200x320 mm. At the same time, the standard wall thickness for profiles should be between 0.80 mm and 10.0 mm. The standard length of rectangular profiles is 6 meters. Depending on wall thickness adjustments, these standards can extend up to 13 meters.
